Highlights
The secret to a Kenyan safari is knowing where to be and when to be there in order to enjoy the great adventure. This tour takes you to calving season down Mara area, where an estimated 500, 000 young wildebeests are born, Mid Northern Kenya to watch some of the best protected elephant families with plenty of hunts and kills happening as the concentrated herds attract a good number of lions, cheetah and hyenas. Parks to be visited are Samburu National park, Mara National reserve and Malindi Marine Park at the Kenyan Coast.

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve 8hrs drive

Situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains. The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The park is 165 km² in size and is situated 350 kilometers from Nairobi. The reserve has species rarely found elsewhere e.g. Reticulated giraffes, grevy’s zebra, kuchi, Beisa oryx’s, Somali Ostrich, genenuk, vulturine, guinea fowl among others.
