Iquitos to Jungle Survival Operation Area

  • Amazon Explorer

    Admission Ticket Free
    • Leave Iquitos at 7:30 am and arrive in Nauta by 9:30 am. • Motorboat from Nauta to a village (3 hr). • Motorboat to a designated area to begin the challenge. • Awareness of the area. • Proper use of a machete. • Build shelters. • Navigate by using natural signs. • Techniques to find food and water. • Make a campfire. • Improvise fishing techniques. • Identify and use flora for survival purposes. • Techniques for floating down rivers and crossing lakes. • Overnight in the jungle. • During this time, you will eat what you have collected.

    • Return by motorboat to a village. • Return by motorboat to Nauta (3 hr). • Bus from Nauta to Iquitos (2 hr). • Arrive in Iquitos by 6:00 pm. • Presentation of Certificates.

Important: No suitable for vegetarians. Food and water must be taken from nature.

It is suggested to arrive in Iquitos a day before to avoid issues caused by flight delays. Flight out must be taken after 9:30pm or, much better, a day after the program
