Nanyuki Town

Arrive at Mt.Kenya region hotel in time for lunch. With your Guide check the climbing gears and spend the evening acclimatizing. Nanyuki is a town in central Kenya. It's known as a gateway to Mount Kenya and the wilderness of Mount Kenya National Park. Several trails, including the Naro Moru and Sirimon routes, ascend the mountain. The park’s wildlife includes leopards, giant forest hogs and more than 100 bird species. 13 hoursAdmission Ticket Free– Hiking distance – 9 Kms – Hiking Hours 3-4 hours – Meters above sea Level 3300M After breakfast leave the hotel and be transferred to sirimon gate to start hiking, here its 2440m above sea level. From the gate you will follow the track as it wind uphill through the forest. After descend for 2 hours to Mintos Huts for breakfast.
