Motonosumi Shrine, selected as one of Japan's 31 most beautiful places by CNN, is a power spot, with a series of 123 torii gates that contrast beautifully with the red torii gate, blue sea, and green earth!
You will pass through Akiyoshidai, where white limestone rocks can be seen peeking out from the green grasslands as far as the eye can see.
Akiyoshidai is also home to a large number of huge limestone caves scattered underground. Among them, "Akiyoshido Cave," designated as a special natural monument, is a giant limestone cave with a total length of more than 10 km. The temperature is a comfortable average17 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
