    Check-in at Mckinstry Street Station and queue to board as the excitement for your journey begins to build. While waiting to board, you learn about the Wine Train’s history and restoration efforts.

  • Board the Train (11:00 AM)

    You board the train and take your seat, ready for an indulgent experience. You’re only moments away from a sumptuous multi-course lunch complemented by incredible Napa Valley views. Time to toast your travel companions with your welcome glass of bubbly.

  • Train Departs (11:30 AM)

    The whistle calls and the train pulls out of the station. Settle into your surroundings aboard a decadent three-hour journey and savor epicurean delights as you weave through the breathtaking countryside.

  • Bon Appetit (12:00 PM)

    A gourmet lunch is served from of our 1090 onboard kitchen car, featuring a delectable appetizer and your choice of entrée. As you finish your last bite, dessert is delivered accompanied by coffee or tea for the return trip.

    The excitement builds as you check in with our team at McKinstry Street Station and join the queue to board. During a short wait, you take a moment to learn more about the Wine Train’s history and the station’s preservation.

  • Boarding Call (5:50PM)

    As golden hour sets in, you’re called aboard the train. Now, it’s almost time to leave the station, and your entire culinary journey is ahead of you. Excitement begins to bubble over.

  • Time to Depart (6:20PM)

    The locomotive blows its whistle, signaling the start of your journey. As the train pulls you forward gently, you settle in for a seasonal culinary experience while sipping a welcome splash of bubbly.

  • Bon Appetit (6:30PM)

Due to the general movement of the train or the rare potential for a sudden stop, children cannot walk about the cars unattended.
Children's menus are not available, but many menu items can be adapted to suit a child's tastes.
Diaper changing is not permitted on the train due to food service and the bathrooms being small. McKinstry Street Station has a diaper changing station in the restroom.
Terms and Conditions
There is no enforced dress code, but you are encouraged to dress for the occasion. Bring an extra layer of clothes to ensure you're warm enough on board. Comfortable shoes are recommended
Smoking is not permitted in the station, on the trains, or on the outside observation deck of the train
Corkage fee of $20.00 per 750ml bottle, $30 for a magnum-sized bottle. If you bring one bottle of wine on board and buy a bottle on board, the corkage for the bottle brought on board will be waived
