The history of Zanzibar will be incomplete without cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, peppers, and many other spices which are essential ingredients in a Zanzibari’s everyday life. It is the island’s connection to spices and herbs. Zanzibar and Spices have been romantic entanglement since the 18th century when the sultanate of Oman took control of Zanzibar.


In this tour, you will learn a lot about Zanzibar spices in full knowledge of the spices from the origin, soil, root steam, and branches. Also, you will get the experience of tasting different spices and seasonal fruits directly from the tree if you are interested.


Apart from the spices you will experience the local Zanzibar life in a village by visiting the old and traditional houses that are still available in Zanzibar and people live in it.

So:- - In this tour, you will discover the different spices that are available in Zanzibar villages and plantations like cinnamons, cardamoms, nutmegs, Indian almonds, vanillas, black peppers, and other spices. - Also In this area, you will be able to taste different spices and fruits directly from the tree and take a picture for a memory also some spices shops are operated by villagers in case you would like to buy the spices.
