Highlights
You will be diving at many different locations with many hard and soft corals. There will be opportunities to see many different sea creatures, such as lion fish and moray eels. This is also a very good trip for spotting leopard and/or blacktip sharks as well as sea turtles!
Diving in this location can be quite challenging and is suitable for advanced and experienced divers only.
Pickup starts at 6-7 AM and you will be taken to the first diving site by boat. The first dive starts at around 10:30 AM. Lunch is served on the boat before the second dive at 1 PM. After this dive, you will be served snacks and fruits on the boat. The third dive of the day follows. Later that evening, we will depart for a night dive followed by a nice dinner on the boat.
The next day starts with an early morning dive, after which an extended breakfast will be served. The second dive of the day is followed by lunch, which proceeds the third and final dive, after which you will be brought back to your hotel.
Itinerary
Day one
Similan Islands
14 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeYou will be taking three dives on this day in the Similan Islands, plus one night dive, with experienced guides.Arrival at the boat will be around 10.00 hours, after which a boat briefing will be given. You will be introduced to your guide of the day, followed by a dive briefing and the first dive of the day. This will quite often be on one of the divesites typical for Similans, big boulders, excellent visibility and lots and lots of marine life. After the dive lunch is waiting for you. The boat will move to the second site, again with normally excellent visibility, where you'll make the second dive of the day. This will be followed by a surface interval with a snack, followed by the 3rd dive, all these dives are drift dives, so need to worry about the location of the boat, we'll find you. The 4th dive will be a nightdive, torches provided, and after that diner and time to freshen up and relax. 4 dives can be quite challenging, in general we recommend, in this timeframe, to do only 3 dives. All dives are done in small groups with a maximum of 4 divers per guide, if you want a private guide let us know in advance, we can arrange that at an additional charge of 2000 Baht.- AccommodationsOvernight on the boat.Food And DrinksLunchDinner
Day two
Similan Islands
15 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeAfter a light breakfast time for the first dive of the day, quite often at a famous site like Elephant Head Rock or Boulder City. After the dive a full breakfast and time to read a book, chat with your friends or relax. At around 10.30 the second dive of the day, followed by again a lovely freshly cooked lunch. Both these dives will normally be at the sites Similans is famous for, big boulders, excellent visibility and lots and lots of marine life. After the dive lunch is waiting for you. The boat will move to the third site, again with normally excellent visibility, where you'll make the final dive of the trip, unless you want to extend your stay of course. After this dive time to pack and make your way back to your accommodation, first a speedboat, followed by a minibus transfer. Again where possible all dives are done as driftdives in small groups with a maximum of 4 divers per guide, if you want a private guide let us know in advance, we can arrange that at an additional charge of 2000 Baht.- Food And DrinksBreakfastLunch
