Next, climb aboard the Houseboat Floating Museum, it was originally a living home of a typical Fisherfolk family in the 80s, and eventually they resided onshore, after that it was restored into a floating museum in 2018, and now its being shown off as an example of how life is lived on the water.Main Deck
The houseboat main deck has a living space of 100m2, with a same size rooftop that used to be their seafood drying space. The size of the houseboat tends to surprise most local people, as the average Hong Kong apartment is 43m2, and has them rethink the factors that make most fisherfolk next generations chose not to continue practice fishing industry and move on land.Rooftop

You can reach Aberdeen by taking a 3-minute Ferry (Kai To 街渡) from the pontoon outside Marina Habitat Ap Lei Chau, which is a few minutes' walk from MTR 'Lei Tung Station', Exit A1.
Meeting Time: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your selected tour departure time. The tour does not wait for latecomers.
Tour Duration: 1 hour to 1.5 hours
- Monday - Sunday, 11:00AM - 1:00PM
- Tour duration: 1 to 1.5 hours
- Child tickets apply to children aged 3-11.
- Senior tickets apply to seniors aged 65 or above.
- Infants aged 0-2 can join the tour for free (not occupying seats nor meals, advanced notification is required 2 days prior to the participation date).
- Children aged below 11 must be accompanied by an adult/a senior aged 18 or above.
- Please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella, sunscreen and sunglasses if needed.
- In the event of Typhoon Signal 3 or higher, Red or Black Rainstorm Warnings still being hoisted at 07:00 on the day of the scheduled tour, tours 09:45, 11:00 and 13:15 will be cancelled and rescheduled. If the above warnings are still being hoisted at 11:00, tours 15:15, 16:30 and 17:45 will be cancelled and rescheduled. Guests may reschedule to date within 2 months of the original tour date. The tour will run as scheduled if Typhoon Signal 1 and/or Amber Rainstorm Warning is hoisted. If Typhoon Signal 3 or higher, Red or Black Rainstorm Warnings is hoisted during the tour time, the tour will be cancelled to ensure passengers’ safety. No refund will be provided under any circumstances.
- This tour is not wheelchair- or stroller-friendly.
- Please be careful not to damage any items, equipment, or decoration on the boat.
- The itinerary is for reference only. The actual arrangement depends on the situation.
- Please note that personal possessions are always carried at the passenger’s risk.
- Guests may buy other travel insurance if needed.
- If participants cancel the tour before departure or do not show up on the tour day, the fare paid will not be refunded, and the company will not assume any responsibility.

- If exceptional circumstances are beyond the company's control, such as bad weather, traffic accidents, marine traffic control, technical problems with transportation, etc., the itinerary must be changed or cancelled. Boat tour with audio commentary, BYO earphones but they probably provide if you forgot. Floating museum with antique from the old. Lunch on a separate boat, or takeaway if you like. Pickup point late change and not easy to locate even for local taxi.
