As pimps, prostitutes and thieves cavort right outside you are very much in the heart of the sleazy underbelly of Barcelona nightlife, barely changed from the 19th century. After getting lost in the restaurant and cafe, we will climb some stairs to the ground floor where we will find the Club and Apotheke, a very special cocktail bar. It is an experience for the senses and an original journey without leaving Barcelona. Ocaña is named in honor of the artist José Pérez Ocaña, who lived for 12 years in the nearby house. At the end of the tour, I will give you a ticket to the historic nightclub: A small, dark and intimate club located near Las Ramblas in the heart of Barcelona. It is a eclectic place frequented by locals. There is only one room where you will find the dance floor, a long bar, and a small stage. The music policy varies greatly depending on the night of the week. Some evenings of the week, you will find bands playing, DJ sets of rock music, or electronic, disco, funk music, it will be a SURPRISE! (the entrance fee to the disco will be only 2 euros at the entrance)
