The Kanda Jhak trek is a hidden gem in Mussoorie, offering a full-day immersive experience through dense forests, traditional villages, terraced fields & serene meadows. This offbeat trail takes you away from the usual tourist paths & deep into the heart of Mountain life. The highlight of the trek is Kanda Jhak, a picturesque meadow surrounded by tall deodar trees and an ancient temple, perfect for a quiet retreat in nature. •Duration: Full day (7-8 hours) •Difficulty: Moderate •Starting Point: Bataghat, Mussoorie •Ending Point: Agiyana village (Taxi Return) •Total Distance: ~14 km ~~~ Itinerary: • 8:00 AM – Start at Bataghat, trek through dense oak and rhododendron forests. • 9:30 AM – Reach Kimoi village, short tea break. • 12:00 PM – Arrive at Kanda Jhak, explore the meadow and ancient temple. • 1:00 PM – Enjoy a traditional & organic Village lunch at Kanda village. • 2:30 PM – Descend to Agiyana village, explore old wooden houses and local life. • 4:30 PM – Return to Mussoorie, via a taxi (1.5 hour drive). ~~~
