Highlights
The 3 day / 2 night climb to Rinjani Summit Lake is the most popular Rinjani Trekking package option. The trek passes through undulating open grasslands up to the campsite at Sembalun Crater Rim. Here you can see amazing views of the sunset overlooking the crater lake, the summit of Mount Rinjani and northern Lombok. After a light breakfast at 3AM we commence the challenging three hour trek to the summit in time for sunrise. We then return to our campsite on the crater rim, where we pause for a hearty breakfast. We continue our descent into the crater to the lake & hot springs. We then climb back tothe rim where we camp on the Senaru side of the crater rim. There are great views across the lake back toward the summit. You can see the Gili Islands and Mount Agung in Bali in the distance. The final day of the Mount Rinjani Trek as we walk back to Senaru we descend through the jungle for approximately 6 hours and stop for lunch just before journey’s end.
Itinerary
Jou Trekking Rinjani
Day 1: Rinjani trekking, Senaru Village (601M) – Sembalun village(1100M) – Sembalun crater rim (2639M) 07.00 am transfer to Sembalunfor 45 minutes drive 08:00 am start walking 01:00 pm lunch break at Pos 3 (1800m) 02:00 pm after lunch break Continue walking up another 3 hours to campsite (Plawangan Sembalun 2.639m) 05:00pm enjoy sunset and sunrise for next day. Day 2: Sembalun crater rim (2639)- Segara anak lake and hot spring (2000)-Senaru crater rim (2641) 02:00 am a ligh breakfast 03:00 am summit hike 06:00 am summit & enjoy the spectacular views 07:00 am back to campsite get breakfast 09:00 am walk to segara anak Lake(2000m) 01:00 pm lunch by the lake 02:30 pm 3 hours walk to senaru crater rim 05:00 pm Senaru crater campsite enjoy incredible sunset over the mountain Agung in Bali. Day 3: Senaru crater rim (2641M) – Senaru village (601M) 08:00 am after breakfast descend to senaru 01:00 pm lunch break 03:00 arrive in senaru village (601 m) Prepare your luggage, trek program end.
