The Ming Tombs were the burial site for thirteen emperors from the Ming Dynasty (1409-1645).Dingling Underground Palace
2 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedAmong thirteen tombs, you will visit the Dingling Tomb, the final resting place of the 13th Emperor Zhu Yijun who is known as the Wanli Emperor, is the only imperial tomb that has been excavated. Continue the tour by strolling down the Sacred Way leading to the tombs. The Ming emperors believed that their souls would ascend to the afterlife after their coffins were carried through the Sacred Way. Admire 36 large statues carved from stone that guard both sides of the path which stretches 7 km (about 4 miles) long.
