I booked this trip through Pelago and my guide was Ikhsan and driver Hassan. Both of them were great, and I highly recommend the tour by CheapBromo! Mount Bromo was closed to visitors during the weekend I was in town, but watching the sunrise from the viewpoint was still possible. The experience was absolutely amazing (too bad Pelago does not allow photos for the reviews). Ikhsan was very patient and helped me find the best photo spots. He was also very enthusiastic about taking photos and made sure I got some great shots throughout the trip. The second stop was Madakaripura Waterfall, which was not part of the original itinerary, as the remaining Bromo attractions were closed to tourists due to the annual Hindu Kasada ceremony. Madakaripura was definitely so underrated compared to Tumpak Sewu, and is highly recommended for anyone considering visiting. The waterfalls and scenery were breathtaking, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip.

The perfect Bromo experience one can ask for. Our guide Ana was funny, friendly and looks after me and my little boy really well. Highly recommended.

I wasnt sure when I booked, because pelago is very new and by the time I booked, didnt have many reviews. However the customer service was very helpful and from the beginning, I felt like I made the right choice! Two days before the tour was supposed to start, I was asked via WhatsApp to reconfirm date and pick up place. We got picked up at the exact time and had one female guide and each a driver for the shuttle and the Jeep drive. We felt very comfortable and didnt have to care about anything! The guide was helpful and attentive and helped us to the best spots. Breakfast was also very good, so all in all I would definetly recommend this tour with pelago!

First of, Hamzah the person that I communicated with on WhatsApp was very helpful with all my requests. Next, our driver Vonz was very obliging and kind, he made sure that we were comfortable and was always seeing how he could serve us better. Next, the guide Rai, he was very polite and knowledgeable. Although he knew the times to avoid the crowds, we never felt that we were rushed. I would definitely choose Cheap Bromo if I were to ever go on this tour again! Kudos to the team! 👏👏👏

We recently went on a tour to Mount Bromo in Indonesia, which was truly an unforgettable experience! The tour was incredibly well-organised, and our professional guide, Oni, ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The tour's highlight was seeing the active volcano's crater and caldera - it was an awe-inspiring sight to behold. And the views of nearby Mount Batok and Mount Semeru were equally breathtaking. But what really made the tour stand out was the opportunity to witness the Bromo sunrise - it was absolutely stunning. And to top it all off, enjoying a warm cup of coffee and pisang goreng was the perfect way to start the day. We also appreciated the attention to safety. Oni ensured we were all well-informed and cared for throughout the tour, especially during the climb up. And having round-trip hotel transfers included in the package just made everything convenient. Overall, this tour is highly recommended to anyone visiting Surabaya or Malang. It truly showcases some of Indonesia's best-kept wonders. Don't forget to bring a pillow to help you sleep on the way from Surabaya to Bromo!
