The Fuji-Hakone Pass is a useful and cost-effective way to handle transportation across two beautiful regions. It definitely offers value, but I am giving it 3 out of 5 stars as a friendly warning about the logistics. Here are a few things to keep in mind to ensure a smooth trip. Bus Planning is Essential. While the pass covers the buses around the Fuji Five Lakes, those routes aren't always frequent, especially outside of peak times. To avoid long waits, definitely check and plan the Fuji bus schedules ahead of time. For a relaxed experience, consider dedicating at least two full days to the Mt. Fuji area. Think About Your Starting Point. If you are traveling from Tokyo, consider if it might be less complicated to use separate day trips (or overnights) for Hakone and Fuji. Sometimes, two targeted trips are simpler than managing the transit between the two regions in one go.
Very easy to exchange at the sightseeing centre. Use the white machine
