Highlights
Escape to a different side of Bali on this full-day private journey through the scenic northern highlands and tranquil coastline. Northern Bali offers cooler climates, pristine forests, sacred lakes, and authentic countryside life away from tourist crowds.
Begin at vibrant Bedugul Traditional Market, where local farmers trade fresh regional produce. Browse stalls overflowing with strawberries, wild orchids, and highland vegetables. Continue to magnificent Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, dramatically positioned on misty Lake Bratan shores. This 17th-century water temple appears to float on the surface, dedicated to Dewi Danu, goddess of water.
Journey across mountain roads with panoramic views over the Bali Sea, descending to laid-back Lovina with its black volcanic sand beaches. Enjoy lunch, then continue to Banjar Hot Springs, where natural sulphur-rich waters flow from ornate dragon sculptures into warm mineral pools surrounded by tropical gardens.
Return through the highlands to your hotel.

2 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedAfter soaking in the atmosphere of this market and perhaps trying out something that is for sale, you drive on to Lake Bratan, home to floating Pura Ulun Danu Bratan. One of the holiest temples, built entirely on small islands and dedicated to Dewi Danu, the water goddess, has yet to find a match in terms of charm. Guests will quickly notice that the climate around this temple is a bit cooler compared to the seaside areas of the south; this has to do with its location above sea level.Buleleng District
