  • Huayan Temple of Datong

    At 8am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Datong hotel, then head to Huayan Temple, which is one of the well-known Buddhism temples built 1000 years ago. There are statutes, pagoda, and halls to visit.

  • Nine Dragon Screen

    30 minsAdmission Ticket Included
    Then, you will move to Nine Dragon Wall, that used to be part of the king palace built 600 years ago in Ming Dynasty. It is the best and earliest nine-dragon wall in China. The nine dragons are well carved, each one is vivid to tell its wonderful pose.

  • Shanhua Monastery

    Then you will head to Shanhua Temple, which is renowned for its layout that was preserved its original design since about 1000 years ago.

  • Datong Volcanic Group

    1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket Included
    Then you will take 30-minute car ride to Volcanic Geopark, which is a large area to view various ancient volcanoes.

  • 土林

    Then you will head to Tulin, which is an earth formation park to view the impressive earth pillars, earth peaks, and earth houses etc. Later, you will be transferred back to your Datong hotel where the day tour concludes.
