Getting There: The Perth Mint is conveniently located within walking distance of Perth’s city centre. The Red CAT bus (Central Area Transit) offers a free service with a stop directly at The Perth Mint (Stop Number R06).

- Open on public holidays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Closed on: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day
Tour Duration: Approximately 1 hour
- Exhibition guide brochures are available in 8 languages: Chinese, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, and Korean.

Fabulous tour, interesting and educational. We took 6yo and was good. Wouldn’t recommend for kids any younger in my personal opinion as I think they may not be able to stay as focused.
The guided tour is interesting and enriching. Get to see a live demonstration of how a gold bar is made.
