Be aware this experience is not for everyone! Glassblowing is a physically demanding craft involving extreme heat and hands-on work with molten glass at over 1100°C. If you are looking for a simple demonstration or guided tour, this may not be the right activity for you. However, if you are ready for an authentic and intense glassblowing experience, this is an unforgettable opportunity. The workshop includes an intro to the tools and techniques of Murano glassmaking, practical exercises with hot glass, and the chance to create your own glass object under the guidance of a glassblower. IMPORTANT: The meeting point is on MURANO ISLAND, not Venice, and is located inside our gallery. Please allow enough travel time to reach Murano and arrive on time, as the lesson starts promptly and guests arriving more than 30 minutes late cannot participate. In that case the booking value may be converted into store credit. We are unable to delay the start of the session. Participants must be at least 12 years old and have a good understanding of English for safety reasons. Translation apps cannot be used during the lesson. A maximum of one non-participating companion is allowed per booking.
