Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Mediterranean countryside, heading toward the deep canyons of the Mijares River.
The Hike: The Maimona Ravine
We kick off the day with an "epic" hike—this isn't just a stroll! We’ll navigate the trails of the Maimona Ravine. As we ascend, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of limestone cliffs towering 300 meters above the riverbed. It’s the perfect opportunity for photography and feeling the raw power of Spanish nature.
The Reward: Fuente de los Baños
After working up a sweat, we descend to the famous thermal springs. According to legend, the Moorish King Abu Zeit built these baths so his favorite queens could maintain eternal youth. While we can’t guarantee immortality, the mineral-rich, crystal-clear water is incredibly refreshing and soothing for tired muscles.
What to Bring
Footwear: Sturdy hiking boots or trail running shoes (mandatory for the hike).
Swimwear: A swimsuit and towel for the thermal springs.
Sun Protection: Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
Hydration: At least 1 liter of water and some energy snacks.
Hike details: 11 kilometers with 450 meters of elevation gain
