  • Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

    Your private English speaking guide will meet you in your hotel lobby at 08:00am, then start your downtown highlights walking tour by public transportation(bus or subway).   You can discuss with your tour guide and you may flexibly choose your personal downtown highlights walking routes from booking options: Here is the sample itinerary: You can do first Forbidden City which is the Imperial Palace for the Emperors in the Ming & Qing Dynasty. You will listen the interesting stories and facts from the knowledgeable guide. Import buildings such as Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Central Harmony, Hall of Preserved Harmony, Palace of Celestial Purity, Palace of Union, Palace of Terrestrial Tranquility & Imperial Garden.

  • Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Not Included
    After the Forbidden City you can visit the Summer Palace which is the Summer Resort for the Imperial family members. It's mainly consists of a lake-Kunming Lake and a hill-Longevity Hill. You will hear the stories of the Empress dowager Cixi conducted state affairs behind curtains and enjoyed the luxurious life here. You can take some beautiful photos along the lake and walk along the Long Corridor. After that your tour guide will send you to the hotel. Other possible itinerary could be Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutong & Temple of Heaven; or Lama Temple, Confucious Temple, 798 Art District or do some shopping. It's completely flexible day tour.
