Highlights
In this 8 hours no-shopping tour you will visit Badaling section of the Great Wall and Changling Tomb. You will spend about 2 hours to hike on the Great Wall to enjoy the grand beauty of this ancient military construction. Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)
2 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedAt 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in Beijing city area. First, we will drive to visit the Changling Tomb, is the largest and best-preserved of the Ming Thirteen Tombs, built in 1409 for Emperor Yongle (Zhu Di) and his Empress Xu. Located in Changping District, it serves as the ancestral mausoleum of the Ming Tombs complex. Its iconic Ling'en Hall, constructed entirely of rare golden nanmu wood, stands as one of China’s finest surviving wooden structures.The Great Wall at Badaling
3 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedAfter lunch, we will pay a visit to the Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and the best-preserved section of the Chinese Great Wall. The mountain slope is very steep and the roads are tortuous, which made it an important military stronghold in ancient time. The wall is like a strong dragon winding its way along the mountain ranges. Cable car on Great Wall is available and optional. On the way back to city area, we will make a stop at Bird’s Nest and Water Cube to pay an outer visit and take some pictures. After visiting, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Beijing city area at around 17:30.
