Depart Rubavu and head to the Holy Rocks in the southern province of Rwanda, a 3.45 hours driving time. This place is called Mashyiga because of the rocks which sustain each other like an earthenware pot atop three rocks. On these rocks, two wives of King Yuhi III Mazimpaka were burned alive. There were put to death for having hidden in their house, Nsoro III, the king of Bugesera, the women wanted this king to behold the beauty of their king.
