    Early morning you will take a short flight to Arba Minch with a vehicle waiting for you at the airport for a pick up to a lodge for check in. After checking in and short break, you will be driven to visit the Dorze village. Dorze people (are famous for their beehive shaped huts made of Bamboo leaves and weaving culture). local guide will take you to a compound of the Dorze people to visit their house and see their life style. The housewife will show you how a kind of flour is prepared from the stem of the enset tree (false banana) which is fermented and used to prepare porridge and sour flat bread. Make a walk in the mountains, passing the Dorze settlements, and visit a weaving and a potter’s cooperation.

Boat trip on Lake Chamo & flight back to Addis Ababa

  • Chamo Lake

    After a breakfast you will make a boat trip on Lake Chamo where you will see the crocodile market. One can spot many hippos and the world’s most spectacular concentrations of Giant Crocodiles. (It is locally called as the crocodile market) the water birds are great the scenery is truly unforgettable. Fishing for Nile perch and many other species by locals on their traditional boat is by far the best in the country. You will also watch various low land water birds like the African Fish Eagle, Great white pelicans, egrets, etc.

  • Addis Ababa

    3 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
    You will have lunch in Arba Minch. Then transferred to airport, a short flight will bring you back to Addis Ababa. You will arrive in Addis Ababa midday/early afternoon where you will transferred to hotel.
