Meeting Point & Pickup Information
- Redeem your JR PASS at designated JR green ticket counters or JR green ticket machines marked with “5489”.

Must Know
- Pass validity begins upon redemption and lasts for 4 consecutive days.
- Only travellers entering Japan under the status of “Temporary Visitor” are eligible.
- Not available for Japanese passport holders.

Easy to redeem the pass at the green ticketing machines with passport readers. No need to wait in long queues at the ticket office. After redeeming the pass, simply insert the ticket into the ticket gate or show pass to staff. Worthwhile if travelling around a lot in the region!
Works well. Saves a ton of money if you are using the Hokuriku Shinkansen regularly. 1 drawback is that the voucher can only be exchanged for a rail pass at specific train stations.
