Welcome to the personal perfume making class!
Scent has a special power to stimulate our emotions and evoke memories. In
this class held at Futurum Art Studio, you can experience the joy of creating
a scent that tells your own story by making your very own perfume. Conducted
as a small-group class, it provides ample opportunity to fully express your
individual sensibility and creativity. Express yourself through your own scent
and create unforgettable moments.

Please come in comfortable clothing and with a relaxed mind. All materials
needed for perfume making are provided.
The perfume is used only for educational purposes during the class, and you
will create a perfume that you can use yourself.
The studio is open from Monday to Friday, and classes are by reservation only.

Itinerary
1. Fragrance Concentrations: Learn about the types of perfume and their longevity based on fragrance oil concentration, such as Parfum, Eau de Parfum (EDP), and Eau de Toilette (EDT). 2. Olfactive Pyramid: Learn the principles of how top, middle, and base notes evolve over time. 3. Fragrance Families: Identify the characteristics and harmonious combinations of major fragrance families such as Citrus, Floral, Woody, and Musk. 4. Professional Perfumery Tools: Master the proper use of blotters for smelling and droppers for transferring fragrance oils.
1. Proper Smelling Technique: Learn professional smelling etiquette, such as folding the tip of the blotter to avoid contact with the fragrance and smelling the residual scent after the alcohol evaporates. 2. Single Note Smelling: Engage in 'olfactive training' by smelling over 30 individual fragrance oils one by one and expressing the unique image and feeling of each scent in words. 3. Accords: Check the harmony of the selected candidate fragrances by overlapping the blotters and fanning them to preview the new scent created when multiple fragrances are combined.
1. Final Formulation: Determine the ratio of top, middle, and base notes by considering the characteristics of the selected fragrances, and calculate the number of drops required for the final volume. 2. Compounding: Carefully mix the fragrances drop by drop, ensuring they blend well without layering. 3. Perfume Base Blending: Add the perfume alcohol base to the combined fragrances and adjust the final concentration to ensure a smooth scent diffusion. 4. Bottling & Labeling: Pour the finished perfume into a sterilized bottle and attach a label to complete your one-of-a-kind creation. 5. Maceration & Usage Guide: Conclude the class by learning about the maceration period required for the scents to harmonize, as well as the correct application points and storage methods to enjoy your perfume longer and more effectively.
