On arrival at Haridwar after check in at the Hotel local Haridwar sightseeings. Situated at the foot hills of the Himalayas, the city is a doorway to the land of holy shrines and pilgrimages, prayer and devotion. Haridwar in Hindi literally means "Gateway to the Lord". The city also represents the point where the sacred river Ganga enters the plains. Haridwar is the site of the Maha Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years, which is the biggest congregation in the world. Morning after breakfast visit Rishikesh: At 1360 m. above sea-level, Rishikeh is a peaceful, serene place inhabited by sadhus and mendicants, and visited by tourists and pilgrims alike. People come to Rishikesh to meditate and study yoga, among other things.

Laxman Jhula is a famous 450-foot-long iron suspension bridge built in 1929 over the Ganges River to connect Tapovan (Tehri district) and Jonk (Pauri district). Named after Lord Laxman, it is a key landmark known for its spiritual significance, stunning river views, and nearby temples like Terah Manzil, though it was closed in 2019 for safety, with a new bridge, Bajrang Setu, under construction

Ram Jhula is a 450-foot-long iconic iron suspension bridge in Rishikesh (built 1986) that spans the Ganges River, connecting Sivananda Nagar to Swargashram. It is a bustling pedestrian thoroughfare lined with ashrams, temples, and markets, offering panoramic views of the river and mountains

The ashram was founded in 1942 by Pujya Swami Shukdevanandji Maharaj (1901–1965). Since 1986, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji Maharaj is the President and Spiritual Head of Parmarth Niketan. For the last 25 years, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati lives and teaches at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram. River ghat at the Parmarth Niketan As the largest ashram in Rishikesh with over 1000 rooms, Parmarth Niketan provides a clean, pure and sacred atmosphere as well as abundant, beautiful gardens to thousands of pilgrims, who come from all corners of the Earth.

Devotees visit the ghat to take ritual baths, believing it cleanses them of their sins. It is also used for the performance of the last rites ritual. The ghat is famed for the Ganga arti, performed to the chants of Vedic hymns. The Gita Temple, Triveni Mata Temple, and the Lakshmi-Narayan Temple are located at its banks.
