The gardens pay homage to the fame he attained in Japan through his literary descriptions of the people, customs and culture of that country. Follow Lafcadio Hearn’s incredible life journey through self guided story boards and discover the symbolism of the rocks and plants, through 11 unique garden areas. Which include a Victorian Garden, American and Greek Garden, and on to the Japanese Gardens which are filled with Japanese plants and Japanese architectural features.
