You will reach the town of Sauce (614 meters above sea level) after 2 hours of driving and crossing the Huallaga River. The path from Tarapoto to Sauce is really impressive. You will see incredible landscapes full of green woods. We are going to make a stop at the viewpoint of Punta de Gallinazo, a good spot to watch the River Huallaga and the huge amazon jungle located in the region of San Martin.Laguna Sauce
1 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedThe freshwaters of Blue Lake are warm because it is located next to an inactive volcano. You can swim in this lake without problems and it is perfect to practice sport fishing or swimming.
