    Zadar, the oldest continually inhabited city in Croatia. Evidence of human settlement stretches all the way back to the 4th century BC, and passes through tribal, Greek, Roman, Venetian, and Italian rule before its modern situation as a part of Croatia. Check out several historic monuments from the medieval and Renaissance periods, in addition to contemporary constructions—such as the world's first sea organ.
