Initially, we felt the time given at each stop was too little, but it was enough for us to snap enough photos. The lunch at Pietraserena was superb though. Good food, great wine and wonderful views! Kids had juices which were good too.
It was a great experience, the whole family enjoyed pasta and gelato making. It wasn’t too difficult but was full of fun. The staff Livio, Gloria and Carmella were all very nice and funny. The venue is up on anion and they provided transportation, beautiful location, highly recommended!
If you're spending a few days in Florence, this is a really great way to see a few areas that are really cool to visit but might not be worth spending a whole day on (Pisa, San Gimignano, and Siena). Barbara was an excellent, knowledgeable, and welcoming tour guide and very proficient in both English and Spanish (amongst at least 3-4 other languages!) and made sure the tour went smoothly. Our local tour guide in Siena, Chiara(?) was also very engaging and informative about her local city. The free lunch is a very light one (antipasto and tastings of three local wines) so if you have a big appetite you will probably need to buy something additional when you reach San Gimignano).
The Tuscany day trip is fun, roaming around different places. Our guide also explained to us certain places. Lunch with wines tasting is very good.
It’s a one day crash course of the Tuscany region. The tour was well planned and thought out. You get a glimpse of both history and landscapes. It’s a bit long though but worth it.
The experience was great, as expected. The guide gave good commentary in both English and Spanish, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t help — it started to rain heavily, and we ended up completely soaked. A bus with heating and toilets would have been useful.
