We reach ancient Antibes where you can stroll the ramparts or sample the bustling market before admiring the marina and Billionaires' quay.

Lay back and enjoy the ride around the cape to reach the Bay of Cannes and the summer resorts of...

... and Golfe-Juan, both filled with history...

Moving on to Cannes, and the boulevard de la Croisette with its exclusive boutiques and splendid hotels where you can ascend the red carpeted 'steps of glory' made famous at the Cannes Film Festival.

After having taken a secret itinerary of mine, we catch the motorway so as to get to the Parnassus of the Arts for a timely lunch break.

We are now in the enchanting cobbled streets of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, once the refuge of artists, now the retreat of film stars. Of course - being a private tour- you can decide whether you want to add the visit of the Foundation Maeght to the number of galleries present... it's all in your hands, I'll adjust the timing, not to worry (!)

... only to turn it up a notch with a breathtaking drive along the 'Moyenne corniche' where, at its highest point, the pretty medieval village of Eze reveals itself...
