【Kokeizan Eiho-ji Temple】

This Zen temple, located on Mount Kokei, was founded in 1313 during the
Kamakura period by the national master Muso Soseki. In late November, the
autumn foliage paints the temple grounds in vibrant colors, leaving visitors
mesmerized. The mountain was named Kokeizan because its scenery resembles that
of Mount Lu in China (a World Heritage site). The garden is designated as a
National Place of Scenic Beauty, where the autumn leaves surrounding the pond
and the large ginkgo tree in front of the main hall reflect elegantly against
the clear autumn sky.

【Shikizakura (Four-Season Cherry Blossoms)】

Shikizakura is a rare variety of cherry blossom in Japan, featuring white and
pale pink petals. With approximately 10,000 trees, the autumn season marks
their peak blooming period, creating a truly spectacular sight.

【Korankei Gorge】

Located in Asuke-cho, Aichi Prefecture, Korankei Gorge is part of the Aichi
Kogen Quasi-National Park. The fiery red maple leaves and the babbling creek
complement each other beautifully. The autumn foliage and dogtooth violet
flowers here are famous, attracting numerous visitors from both within and
outside the prefecture every year. It has even been selected as one of the
'Top 500 Most Beautiful Walking Paths in Japan' by the Japan Walking
Association. During the autumn foliage season, the trees are illuminated
starting at 17:00, allowing you to experience the unique charm of the maples
under the spotlights.
