We will explore lower downtown (LoDo) Denver)m Larimer Square where Denver was founded and the RiNo area, Larimer Square is an area now that has trendy stores and restaurants. while the RiNo area is famous for its breweries and painted murals. Then we move on to Red Rocks Park. From there we will go to Buffalo Bill's Gravesite where we can visit the museum and gravesite at Lookout Mountain. The views from Lookout Mountain are spectacular as one can see on one side the Rocky Mountains and on the other side both Golden and Denver. We continue onto Golden and then Boulder. Golden is a pioneer town where the state capitol resided for a brief period of time before moving permanently to Denver. Golden still has the old time cowboy feel to it while Boulder is a very quaint town with a beautiful pedestrian outside mall that has many boutique shops and swanky restaurants. On the way into Boulder we will drive up to NCAR where you will see see the Boulder and the foothills. The Flatirons Mountains of Boulder are a legacy. According to the pioneer women the gigantic Rocks shooting out of the ground resembled the flatirons they used to iron the clothes hence they called them the Flatirons.
