  Start early in the morning 7:00 am by private car from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis (360 km). Upon arrival at the oasis, have lunch, start with 4x4 car, Drive to reach Elhaiz Bedouin village to swim in natural springs, drive to visit the crystal mountain, crystal cave and drive to enjoy the panoramic views of Aqabat Valley to see the high white mountains that blend with sand dunes, continue driving to the new white desert and enjoy the beautiful forms of limestone such as chicken, rabbits, dog, ice cream and more natural rock formations, Enjoy a barbecue dinner and camping under the stars in tents.

• Gebel al Ingleez White desert

  You can walk/climb to the Gebel al Ingleez, north-east of Bawiti. At the flat top are the remains of a castle from the first world war, built by captain Williams to control the area. From the top, but also half way, you have a nice view at the surrounding mountaineous and bare area.

• Cristal Mountain

  Crystal mountain is a place on the way to the white desert between the Bahariya oasis and the Farafra. It is a stop about 30 or 40 minutes to climb and look around. A mountain basically filled with crystals limestone rocks . To me it’s just a stop on the way to The White Desert.
