At the departure time, our tour guide and driver will pick up you right at your hotel (District 1-3-4-5). After finishing the pick up, head to mekong delta for a day trip to this beautiful countryside area.

First stop will be the Vinh Trang pagoda. Visiting Vinh Trang Pagoda offers a captivating glimpse into the Mekong Delta’s spiritual and cultural heritage. Known for its unique mix of Vietnamese, Khmer, and Chinese architectural styles, the pagoda features grand statues, vibrant mosaics, and tranquil gardens. Walking through its courtyards and serene ponds, you experience a peaceful atmosphere and admire the artistry and devotion that make this temple a standout destination in the region.

You step onto a medium-sized wooden or motorized boat, sturdy enough to navigate the wide, flowing waters of the Mekong River. Unlike the narrow canals, the main river is vast and open, with a strong, steady current and a gentle sway under your feet. The deck is open, allowing unobstructed views of the horizon, and a small shaded area protects you from the sun. As the boat glides through the water, you feel the power and scale of the Mekong River. The river stretches far and wide, with muddy brown waters moving steadily downstream. On either side, the landscape alternates between lush green riverbanks, coconut palms, orchards, and occasional riverside villages.

Lunch Time: Enjoy fresh Mekong Delta specialties: river fish, shrimp, tropical fruits. Relax and enjoy the river view.

Midway through the journey, the motor boat stops at a calm stretch of the river. Here, you transfer to a smaller traditional rowing boat (sampan). The rower—often an experienced local—guides the boat quietly through the river’s gentle waves, allowing you to experience the Mekong as villagers have for generations.
