I lived the Blue Safari: a unique experience next to the Perito Moreno Glacier
Designed for those who dream of coming face to face with ice, this tour combines sailing, hiking and an intimate connection with one of the most imposing glaciers in the world.
The adventure begins in El Calafate with the transfer to Los Glaciares National Park. From Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, we cross Lake Rico by boat and, after a 20-minute sailing, disembark in front of the majestic south wall of the glacier.
Along a guided walk of 11⁄2 hours, we skirt the ice enjoying spectacular views and the possibility of witnessing landslides that shake the landscape. As we reach the edge of the glacier, we will have time to take in its intense shades of blue and white, and capture memories with incredible photographs.

Upon arriving at Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, just 7 km from the walkways, we embark to cross Lake Rico. 30 minsAdmission Ticket FreeFor the next 30 minutes, we will advance along a nature trail surrounded by forest and sand, always with the imposing south wall of Perito Moreno Glacier in front of our eyes.
