Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament (Ozumo Kyushu Basho)
Six major Sumo tournaments are held every year in Japan, and Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament is one of the tournaments.
Kyushu holds the Sumo event in mid-November at Fukuoka International Center, which is near Tenjin and Hakata Area.
On this tour, you watch Sumo matches on Chair-seat B or Masu-seat C.
Find your favorite Rikishi(wrestlers) while you watch the tournament and enjoy cheering for them.

Itinerary

  • 14:30

    Meet your guide at Gofukumachi Station Exit 2 above ground

  • 14:45

    Departure time, Walking to the venue.

  • 15:00

    Arrive at the Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament We will escort everyone to their seats.

  • Our guide will take you to a chair where you will be seated.(Chair B seats on 3rd floor)

  • (Masu-seats C on 2rd floor) You can experience a realistic feeling of being closer to the sumo ring than in the chair B seats.

  • 18:00

    Enjoy watching Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament until 6 PM (Re-admission is possible until 5 PM)

  • The Sumo tournament will be dismissed as soon as it is over.

Purchase Notice
Masu-Seat C are a box seating type for 4 persons. Please note that you will be sharing seats with other passengers.

Please note that specific seat locations or seat numbers cannot be chosen.
Children up to 3 years of age may join but must sit on the lap of a parent or guardian during the event.
Visitors aged 4 and older are required to possess a valid ticket.
Spectators in wheelchairs are not permitted.
Re-entry is allowed as many times as you like from the opening until 5:00 p.m.
Eating and drinking are allowed in the seating area.
If you would like to be seated together as a group, please make a request when booking. While staff will do their best to accommodate seating requests, please note that some requests may not be possible.
Reminders
Suitcases and other large pieces of luggage cannot be brought into the seating area. - Please store your luggage in advance at another location (e.g., coin lockers) or at your accommodation.
Eating and drinking are allowed in the seating area.
Food and beverages will be sold at the concession stand. Please note that food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, Kindly purchase food and beverages at the concession stand inside the 1F.
Lost admission tickets or exchange tickets will not be accepted. Re-issuance of tickets is not possible.
Spectators are not allowed to watch the matches from seats other than their assigned ones.
Please set your cell phone to silent mode and refrain from talking on it while in the audience.
Please avoid obstructing the view of others when displaying cheering banners or towels.
Throwing cushions is strictly prohibited as it may cause injury or other issues.
Guests who arrive late for the meeting time will have their reservations canceled.
