Leaving early from your stay in Puerto Varas we head straight to the foothills of the imposing Osorno Volcano, with a height of 2,652 meters. We will arrive at the CONAF office to prepare and start our ascent at 1,200 meters above sea level. We'll walk at least 3 hours until we reach the point where we will fully equip ourselves and hold an informative technical talk to start our journey to the Glacier Seracs. After about 1 hour, when we arrive we can rest and observe these imposing blocks of ice, we will hear the underground creaks and possibly we can see glacier landslides. After having enjoyed this beautiful panorama we will return following the same route of the crossing until we reach the point where we can unequip and begin our descent until we reach the transport that will take us back to the city of Puerto Varas. IMPORTANT: Ascent of 3.5 km approx (7 km in total round trip approx) Route of stone and volcanic sand at the beginning, snow and ice at its end in summer. Ice and snow in winter.
