Admire the impressive moat, giant stone faces, and statues of gods and demons holding the Naga serpent. Continue to Bayon Temple, famous for its serene, smiling stone faces. Explore nearby temples including Baphuon, home to a massive reclining Buddha; Phimeanakas, the former royal temple; and the Terrace of the Elephants, once used for royal ceremonies. After lunch in Angkor Park, visit the majestic Angkor Wat, the world’s largest Hindu monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
