You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning for the 45-minute drive to Rakh village. Take in the scenic beauty of the surrounding Dhauladhar mountains as you drive past pine, cedar and rhododendron forests. Rakh village is about 15 miles from Dharamshala but remains untouched by commercial influence. Drive past the village huts to Rakh Bridge from where your trek will start. Your guide will lead you along paths that offer amazing views of the landscape around. Reconnect with nature and breathe in the fresh mountain air as you wind your way through Deodar forests. This is a moderately difficult trek that takes 2.5 to 3 hours and goes past a crystal clear mountain stream. You will have several stops along the way and you can also enjoy a packed lunch (beverage excluded). Rest for a while after reaching the end of the trek before you start your downward descent to Rakh village. At the end of your trekking adventure, you will be driven back to your hotel.
