"Natura ARTIS Magistra", meaning "nature is the teacher of art and science", has been ARTIS's motto since 1838. This motto is reflected in the Studio ARTIS exhibition, starting October 9, 2026.

ARTIS-Groote Museum will invite four artists to create new works in the museum. In a specially designed studio, the artists will work on their artworks and talk with visitors about their work and connection to nature.
