Fuss free experience. Driver picked us up from the hotel and drove 2h to a village near Timang beach to transfer to a jeep for the last 5km. The Jeep Driver was very helpful in taking photos for us, and so were the staff at Gondola. The Gondola was 200k/ round trip and walking the suspension bridge would cost 150k/ round trip. It would cost the same if you do one-way on each type as the staff explained that they are managed by “different companies”. On the island, the staff there helped us to take even more photos and even played director for some short videos. It was a good experience! Lastly, on the way back, before you transfer to the car to take you back to Yogyakarta, you have the option of stopping at the nearby restaurant for some local lobster meal. They sell set meals, ranging from 300k (incl 0.5kg lobster) to 600k (incl 1kg lobster).

The only 3rd party which provides tour to only Timang Beach which was what we wanted. Price was reasonable and booking through Pelago made us feel safer. Our driver Brian was friendly, smiley and we enjoyed his playlist throughout the drive. He gave us some recommendations for food and desserts and checked with us if we still want to go anywhere which he can bring us. At the parking before Timang Beach, we can choose the available Jeeps and another driver (Jeep owner) will bring us to the beach and helped us do recording and take pictures before passing us over to the Gondola / Bridge Company where again the people also took care of us well and helped us to take wonderful photos and these are included as part of the package after we paid for the Gondola. Better to go earlier as there are usually more people queuing for the Gondola in the afternoon. Overall fun experience and everyone were just so friendly. Highly recommended!
