    Start your day with an early morning pickup at Tianjin downtown by your friendly guide and driver, then transfer to the Great Wall at Shanhaiguan Pass, which is located in Qinhuangdao Prefecture, Hebei Province, nearly 186 miles east of Beijing. It was the most important pass of the Great Wall of Ming Dynasty, protecting the widest corridor between China and its strongest rival neighbors, the Manchu, reputed as the “First Pass under Heaven”.

  • Great Wall Museum

    Then accompanied by your guide, visit Shanhaiguan Great Wall Museum. It is one of China's three Great Wall museums, the others are Badaling and Jiayuguan Great Wall Museums. Opened in 1991, it focuses on displaying the history, culture, organization and the military aspects of the Great Wall. Not opened on Monday.

  • Laolongtou (Old Dragon's Head)

    After enjoy a nice local lunch, continue to Laolongtou, known as the Old Dragon's Head. It is the eastern starting point of the Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), and is also the only section on the sea.The whole Wall is considered a huge dragon winding through China, while Laolongtou is just like the head of the dragon stretching into the Bohai Sea. Explore here 1-2 hours accompanied by your guide.

    Meet your guide and driver at 12:00.p.m. After lunch, visit Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park, a large city safari park with the highest forest coverage rate and one of the most beautiful environments in China. It is home to more than 5,000 animals. Among them, there are lots of rare kinds, such as Siberian tigers, African lions, brown bears, and black swans. It has become a popular place in the Qinhuangdao Scenic Area. Upon arrival, your driver will drive you inside and you can tour around the park accompanied by your guide, even stop for photos.

  • Pigeon Nest Park

    After that, continue to Beidaihe National Wetland Park and Pigeon Nest Park. Beidaihe National Wetland Park, which is one of the Best Birding Spots in China. It is also known as a birding haven. Spring and Autumn are the best seasons for bird-watching. Pigeon's nest is a must-go scenic spot of Beidaihe River. Watching the sunrise in Pigeon park is a can't-miss activity for all visitors! If you are interested, you can go in early morning. After the tour, you will be transferred back to Tianjin or your hotel at Beidaihe.
