You will be picked up at meeting points and transferred to a local wet market to explore the market and purchase fresh ingredients. After getting a glimpse of how locals do shopping for their meals, you will arrive at the experience venue and start your culinary journey with us. At our kitchen - a rooftop facing the iconic West Lake, you will prepare and make authentic Bun Cha Hanoi and some other local cuisines (such as papaya salad, spring rolls, etc.) under the instruction of the host while learning about the history of the dishes as well as interesting culinary culture of Vietnam in general and Hanoi particularly. Once the food is ready, we will sit down and enjoy our work with fresh draft local beers, a panoramic view of Hanoi city and the lake, and many unique untold stories around Vietnamese eating etiquettes and culinary culture. Last but not least, you will be introduced to a secret homemade dessert made by us and experience it in a very traditional and authentic way.
