In about 1,5 to 2 hours you will drive from Moshi to the Chemka (Kikuletwa) hot springs. On the way, you will drive through the gorgeous African countryside where you can see small villages, bushland, dry riverbeds, acacia trees and even a baobab tree. The underground Chemka springs provide for crystal clear water. The springs are surrounded by the roots of fig trees, which makes this place a hidden paradise. Although called hot springs, the water is not hot but rather pleasantly warm. Don' t forget your swimsuit!
