Highlights
Experience Sian Ka’an at sunrise, one of the most peaceful times to explore the reserve. Paddle through quiet lagoons and mangrove channels as the wetlands come to life and birds begin their morning activity.
Travel in a small group with a local kayak guide, away from the crowds, while learning about the mangrove ecosystem, wildlife and paddling techniques. No previous kayaking experience is required.
What to bring: At least 1 liter of water per person, sun protection, sandals or water shoes, towel, and optional snacks.

Kayak in Tulum - Yucatan Outdoors - Sian Kaan Tours
Start your day paddling through the peaceful lagoons and mangrove channels of the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. As the sun rises, observe birds and wildlife becoming active while exploring quiet waterways away from the crowds. Your guide will introduce you to the mangrove ecosystem and provide basic kayaking instruction along the way.
