The Wilder Institute's Calgary Zoo is a world-class accredited zoo located on St. George Island, only 5 minutes from downtown Calgary and 20 minutes from the Calgary International Airport.

Home to more than 4,000 animals from around the world, including two polar bears, the zoo offers plenty to see across seven zones. The newly redeveloped Imagine Asia zone welcomes back red pandas and snow leopards, and introduces a new species, the Sichuan takin.

From adventuring through family favourites like the Penguin Plunge to getting up close to wildlife in Destination Africa and Wild Canada, there is always something special to experience at the Wilder Institute's Calgary Zoo.

And, as a bonus, every visit supports critical conservation work across Canada and globally.
