Highlights
This half day tour takes in the House of the Virgin Mary and the ancient city of Ephesus which are two of the most important sites in Turkey. The House of the Virgin Mary is where the Blessed Virgin is alleged to have spent the last days of her life. Imagine life in Roman times in the ancient city of Ephesus where you will see the Magnesia Gate, Odeon, the Fountain of Trajan, temple of Hadrian and the impressive library of Celsus. The tour will finish with a refreshment break at Ephesus Theme Park before going back to Kusadasi for a short carpet demonstration. Those who prefer can go directly to the ship close by.

West of Guzelcamli and 30 km from Kusadasi, is the Dilek Peninsula National Park, and a visit is a must for those with the time. Here amidst incredibly beautiful surroundings are some of the most wonderful views and some of the rarest wild animals in Turkey, including the Anatolian cheetah and some of Turkey's last wild horses. The park is a wildlife preserve and a haven for many species of animals and birds.
