Highlights
Be amazed by the warmth and depth of Ghanaian rural culture. You'll visit Torgome, a beautiful village located on the lower Volta region of Ghana, and will have the opportunity to participate in a naming ceremony where you are given a traditional African name. You'll also be able to courtesy call on the paramount chief and elders, enjoy traditional drumming and dancing by the villagers. In addition, you'll visit the Shai Hills Natural Reserve, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in southern Ghana, and discover unique flora and fauna in the region.

Trek through the Savannah plains to view West Africa’s big game: antelopes, bush-bucks, krobs, baboons, monkeys, and many bird species including the crested eagle, ground hornbill, blank bellied bustard and more. • Visit the Obonu Tem & Se Yo Caves which Serve as home to many animals, notably insectivorous bats. Learn about the various artifacts that have been found on this very site (homeland to the Krobbo people)
