Bronze and clay offerings (tripods and figurines) , the sphinx of Naxos, the freeze of the treasury house of the island of Sifnos, the remaining parts of the once burned gold and ivory statues of Apollo and Artemis, the silver bull, parts of the wall of the Athenian treasury with inscriptions, several marble very well preserved classical statues, the very famous and impressive bronze charioteer etc. If the assumptions of the archaeologists are correct and this was the tomb of Agamemnon, try to imagine the amount of gold and jewels that must have been placed there, in order for him to take with to the afterlife.
